General Design and Pre-Feasibility Study of New Mechanised Cargo Port in Belgrade

 

Detailed Project summary

The Belgrade Master Plan until 2021 and the Master Plan and Feasibility Study of Inland Waterway Transport in Serbia (for the time period until 2025), envisage the construction of a new international mechanised cargo port with a container terminal in Belgrade.
The General Design includes: data on macrolocation and general layout of the facility; elaboration of technical-technological concept and infrastructure; spatial and technical  variant solutions from the aspect of fitting into the background,

analysis of solutions’ functionality and rationality, environmental impact assessment and programme of investigation works for Preliminary Design preparation.

The port is designed by the „Landlord“ principle, implying respective participation of public and private-owned sector. Total investment value of the port is EUR 326 million, wherein the public sector participates with about EUR 224 million.
